A recent $1.15 million commitment from the Walton Family Foundation in support of the Water Desk and the Western Water Policy Program builds on recent philanthropy supporting CU Boulder’s sustainability leadership.

Students celebrated Homecoming Week by partnering with local organizations and nonprofits including Denver Parks and Recreation, Denver Rescue Mission and Love For Our Elders. Volunteers worked to clean up trash along Cherry Creek and prepare meals for local nonprofits.

Ent Credit Union has committed $15,000 to support food-related initiatives at UCCS including Clyde’s Cupboard, the campus food pantry. With this latest contribution, Ent Credit Union continues to champion the idea that student success is inseparable from the fulfillment of basic needs.

Founded in 1967, the University of Colorado Foundation is the portal for philanthropic giving to the University of Colorado. In addition to receiving, managing and investing the endowments and other gift funds held for the benefit of CU, the Foundation advances the university’s mission by safeguarding donor intent, delivering exceptional donor experiences and ensuring adequate funding of advancement operations.
